In the junior competition, Holly Carbaugh of Chambersburg won the open and 4-H champion awards with her spring yearling Pleasant Valley Starbuck Candice. The FFA junior champion was Christopher A. Dietrich Gets Grand On Final Try BETH MILLER Cumberland Co. Correspondent SHIPPENSBURG (Cumberland Co.) Melanie Dietrich of New burg came away the big winner in the colored breeds Pitting and showing competition at the Ship pensburg Fair, held the last week of July. Dietrich won the grand champ ion shower and fitter title in the contest that drew about 30 4-H and FFA contestants from Cum berland and Franklin counties. Her victory mariced Dietrich’s last opportunity to win because she will be too old to compete in the 4-H and FFA event at next year’s fair.
