DUNBAR (Fayette Co.)—At
the southwestern Pennsylvania
Championship Show, Megan
Souder showed the grand champ
ion with her first place three year
old. The entry, C. Anchovale
Gubriella Pete, was also champion
of the junior, show and first place

Twin Brook Farm showed the
reserve grand champion of the
open show with Never-Rest-M

Londondale Farm Sweeps
Jefferson Holstein
BROOKVILLE (Jefferson
Co.) Cattle shown by London
dale Farm, of Punxsutawney,
swept the recent Jefferson County
open division Holstein show, held
at the Jefferson County Fair
grounds Strishock Park.
The almost-80 animal show was
judged by Patty McMurray, of
Eighty-four.
The Londondale Farm was rep
resented by Art London and sons
Dennis and Jim and Jim’s wife
Jody. They took the grand, reserve
grand and junior titles, premier
breeder, premier exhibitor, best
animal bred and owned by an exhi
bitor. supreme champion, etc.
The Londons’ dairy herd last
year led the county for milk, fat
and protein production for 1992,
averaging 25,337 pounds of milk,
959 pounds of fat and 818 pounds
of protein.
Art London and son Dennis
work fulltime on the farm, while
son Jim works for Atlantic
breeders.
The grand champion was an
aged cow, Londondale Matinee
Dutchess, bom Oct 13,1984. The
junior champion was an intermedi
ate calf, Londondale Belltone
Macey.
Taking reserve junior champion
was a summer yearling heifer, Far
man Farms R. Blackstar Rena,
owned and showed by Rena Syndi
cate and Rodney Fairman.
