Stan-EI Jersey Farm, owned by Elva Koontz and son Wayne, has been in
the family for four generations. They have 250 cows and farm 525 acres. The
farm Includes a modern parlor with computer feeders and a computer in the
office. A covered manu re storage system that empties by gravity has been a
good Investment. Elva said that deer are a problem on the farm and they
have participated In the Hot Spot Deer program, but not many hunters have
come to the farm. The farm is located 15 miles south of Bedford on Rt. 326.
