Universal Introduces
Positive Oil Displacement
Vacuum Pump
KANSAS CITY, Mo. Uni
versal Dairy Equipment has taken
a good idea and made it even
better.
The new MXL pump introduces
positive oil displacement to the
dairy industry. The design builds
upon the success of the popular
Masport® pump from Universal.
The wash cycle can be tough on
pumps. Because of the lower vac
uum level, less oil is drawn
through the pump, and vapors
from chlorine and other cleaning
chemicals can dry it out.
Positive oil displacement, how
ever, guarantees the lubrication of
bearings at start-up, as well as
throughout the wash cycle. The oil
still is run through a reclaimer, but
dairy farmers don’t have to bother
adjusting the vacuum level
because the MXL is fully
automated.
Automatic and adjustable direct
oil feed to both ends of the main
bearings and all other moving
parts provide positive, trouble
free, and continuous lubrication.
