More Than 1,100 Participate In State FFA Contests
STATE COLLEGE (Centre Co.) From June 15-17,
more than 1,100 FFA members from across Pennsylvania
competed at Penn State University for the 64th State
Activities Week/Summer Convention.
Members competed in various events, which included
26 different contests, state chorus, chapter delegate, and
state officer candidate.
The evening sessions included speakers Marty Coates
and Andy Rill, recognition of FFA Foundation sponsors,
proficiency winners, chapter awards, state officer
parents, and a salute to the FFA members by the state
officer team. Thursday morning was the announcement
of 1993-1994 state officer team and contest winners.
