INVITATION FOR BIDS
The York County Conservation District is requesting
bids for the construction of (1) AGRICULTURAL
WASTE STORAGE SYSTEM to be funded in part by
the Chesapeake Bay Program. Construction of this
project is expected to begin during August/Sept/
1993. The site is located in Washington Township,
York County.
Prospective contractors will receive a bid package
which contains Instructions to Bidders, a sample con
tract form, the plans and specifications for the project
and a bid sheet.
Small and minority businesses and women's busi
ness enterprises are encouraged to respond to this
invitation for bids.
A site showing will be held on July 6, 1993 at 1:30
p.m. Sealed bids will be accepted until the public bid
opening at 1:00 p.m. on July 20, 1993.

NOTICE OF ELECTION
The Farmers Home Administration (FmHA) County Committee
election this year will be held on July 10, 1993. The ballot below
must be filled out, detached and mailed and received or returned in
person to Farmers Home Administration, 1383 Arcadia Road,
Lancaster, PA 17601 not later than July 10,1993. If you do not vote
in person you should mail your ballot inside a blank envelope
marked ballot to insure a secret ballot. This blank envelope should
be placed inside the envelope you use to mail your ballot. Your
name and address must be legible on the outer envelope. Failure
to provide this information will render your ballot invalid. Only one
ballot may be voted in person or by mail by any voter. Ballots and
envelopes may also be obtained from your local FmHA office.
The slate of nominees for the Lancaster County Committee is
listed in the ballot below. The qualifications of persons voting are
described in the “Voter Certification Statement”. For further infor
mation regarding voting and voter eligibility, see the County Office
listed above. FmHA election are open to all eligible voters without
regard to race, color, religion, national origin, age, political affilia
tion, marital status, sex, and/or handicap.
