She was entered by Douglas Dalton of Altavista, Virginia, and was also selected as the Intermediate champion owned heifer. Dalton’s entry is a July 1991 daughter of R&J Extraordinary 1345 and topped the 95 heifers in the owned competition. Jack Ward of Roa noke, Indiana, judged the entries in the junior division. Will Grate of Mason, Texas, was chosen as the winner in the overall showmanship contest at the 1993 Atlantic National Junior Angus Show. She is a September 1992 daughter of Stone Gate Eurloch and first won fall heifer calf champion. Two Leachman Prompter sons swept the bred-and-owned bull show. Randolph Clary 111, Brod nax, Virginia, led A C On Time, an October 1992 calf to the grand champion title. The reserve grand champion bull award went back to the state of Oklahoma with John Anthony 111, Poteau, Oklahoma, for his May 1992 yearling named J F Kims Playboy. In the steer competition, Casey High, Lititz, Pennsylvania, exhi bited the grand champion steer. His entry, KJC Stockmans Derby, is a March 1992 son of TC Stock man. He weighed 1226 lbs. and had a weight per day of age of 2.88. WK Samson was selected as the reserve grand champion steer. He is an April 1992 son of Ankonian Bold Ruler A 5208, and weighed 1030 pounds with a weight per day of age of 2.5. He was owned and shown by Ty Krebs, Gordon, Nebraska. The overall showmanship award traveled back to Mason, Texas, with Will Grote. Grote was selected from the winners of the novice, junior, intermediate and senior divisions for the title. Riggs’ entry was also selected as the Junior champion owned heifer in the owned heifer show. The show was judged by Jack Ward of Roanoke, Indiana.
