lifelike mechanical cow named
Della (named for Alfa Laval
Agri’s “De Laval” products) made

on one side where milk production,
can be viewed. Visitors to the zoo
can actually attach modem Alfa
Laval Agri milking equipment to
her themselves.
"We are thrilled to make this
donation to the Kansas City Zoo,”
said Blanks. “We feel the import
ance of the dairy industry will be
underscored with this donation.
We would like for children to fully
understand the process behind the
production of a food that is so es
sential to their lives ... in doing
so we build loyal consumers of
dairy products for today and to
morrow.”
“We are pleased to have such a
unique addition to the Zoo," said
Wourms. “Della will be a high
light in our domesticated animals
attraction. Donations such as this
are an essential pan of the future
Kansas City Zoo.”
The donation was announced
during Alfa Laval Agri’s 10th Na
tional Dealer Convention held re
cently.
