Adams Presentation Night
Several 4-H members garnered top honors at the recent
Adams County 4-H Presentation Night.
4-H members who have the opportunity to compete in
the regional presentation night on July 20 at Cumberland
Valley High School include Melissa Hawkins. Jeremiah
Wooters, and Kelly Rockafellow.
Also able to participate in regionals, and honored with
awards, include senior impromptu speakers Abe Bucher,
Laura Cunningham, EmUy Miller, Wayne Flickinger,
Rich Williams, Eugene Hunt, Karen Millar, Beau Rams
burg, and Matt Moore.
Junior impromptu speakers also to regionals include
Heidi Miller, Kristi Cunningham, Sarah Pierson, Ryann
Zepp, and Rebecca Hunt.
Junior presenters include Zeb Eckert, Josh Ramsburg,
Langdon Ramsburg, Shannon Holtzinger, Kristen Hill,
Hannah Myers, Gabby Wells, Chris Jcffcoat, Carrie Ste
vens. Jonathan Murren, Adam Sachs, Ashleigh Van Lieu,
Anthony Hill, Jesse Murren, and Katie Ramsburg.

4-H Summer
Program Assitant
Adams County Cooperative Extension recently
announced that the postiion of 4-H summer program
assistant for the summer of 1993 will be filled by Jacki
Sterner, daughter of Judy and Charlie Sterner.
Jacki began her duties as 4-H summer program assis
tant on May 10 and will continue with Extension through
August 6.
She will be working with 4-H sheep, swine, and horse
clubs. Jacki will be helping with events such as Sheep
and Swine Show and Sale, Regional Horse Judging Con
test, and the 4-H Pair Horse Roundup.
Jacki is attending Penn State University, majoring in
secondary math education. She is a senior planning to
graduate in May 1994.
Jacki belonged to the 4-H Shamrock Club and the Get
tysburg 4-H Horse Club for 11 years. While in 4-H, she
saved as president of the Adams County 4-H Senate. She
also participated in National 4-H Congress. National 4-H
Conference, Citizenship Washington Focus. Pennsylva
nia 4-H Capital Days, interstate exchange programs, and
Penn State 4-H Achievement Days.
