The Beef Board is the nation il industry organization which maintains oversight responsibili ties for the $1 per head beef checkoff program. “We fed very fortunate to host this national meeting,” says Ralph McGregor, a dairy fanner from York County, and one of Pennsyl vania’s two representatives on the 109-member national board. Pen nsylvania's other representative on the board is Ralph Dotterer, a cattle feeder from Clinton County. “It is only fitting that this group? whose purpose is to build consum er demand for beef and veal, has chosen an Northeastern meeting sight close to many of the major cities,” McGregor says. The meeting begins on Friday. June 25, at 8:00 a.m. with the opening general session at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center.
