Movement of ready-to-cook whole birds
was slow to fair at best. Offerings were
readily available for immediate delivery
and difficult to place. Live supplies were
moderate; weights varied, but were mostly
desirable to heavy. Processing schedules
were heavy. Less than uucklot asking
prices were 1 to mostly 2 cents lower at S 6
to 69 cents and extra supplies were negoti
able. Trade sentiment was weak to lower.
Breast items were irregularly balanced.
Leg items were adequate with drumsticks
in closest balance. Inquiry on dark meat
items centered on next weeks needs. Wings
were in good balance.

Tracklot buyin| intereit continued to be
light to fair. Supplies of bonelen ikinlen
bream from yellow skin production were
adequate for current needs and product
cleared at steady prices. Boneless skinless
breasts without tenders were fully adequate
for the light and cautious demand with
some trading reported at lower prices. Line
run breasts were irregularly distributed.
Product was offered at lower trending
prices and was slow to clear. Most buyers
were cautious and limited receipts to com
mitment! only. Yellow skin leg quarters,
thighs, and drumsticks cleared to an active
demand; white skin leg quarters were
available.

otherwise, prices around the country were
unchanged. The trade sentiment was
steady to fully steady on larger sizes,
steady to instances cautiously steady on
mediums. Retail demand ranged slow to
good, mostly fair. Supplies of larger sizes
were in close balance to instances light,
mediums were at least adequate or were
available if needed. In the Central States
breaker channels, prices for nest run sup
plies ranged unchanged to higher, checks
