Wing disc harrows.
A medium duty disc harrow of
fered in 21-27-fodt models, the
3950 is available in a wide array
of configurations. The 3950 Series
is the first disc harrow designed
from the ground up with residue
management practices in mind.
The 3950 Series discs can be or
dered with 22-inch shallow conca
vity residue management blades
on 7 V* -inch spacing, which have
IS percent less concavity than
standard blades. The shallow con
cavity blades provide excellent
finishing and leveling action,
while leaving more residue on the
soil surface. For deeper tillage and
cutting heavy residue, 22-inch
blades on 9'/i -inch spacing de
liver the performance you need.
Gang angles on the 3950 Series
are fixed at 17 degrees front and
rear.
The 3950 Series carries on the
Krause tradition of overlapping
disc gangs to eliminate the untill
ed center strip left by conventional
tandem discs. A new self-leveling
system automatically levels the
disc when working depth changes

The 3950 is available in stand
ard bearing arm configurations or
Rock-Flex models for maximum
performance in rocky soil condi
tions. Long-life, regreasable
Super Seal bearings are standard
equipment on all Krause disc har
rows.
The three-section 3950 Series
flex-wing discs feature overcenter
fold for easy road transport. All
models fold to a transport width of
just 13 feet 4 inches. Transport
height ranges from 10 feet 8
inches to 13 feet 5 inches.
Optional attachments include
wing guage wheels and a two or
three-row line harrow for planter
ready seedbeds.
