was followed by the annual awards banquet late that
evening.
Club President David Lentz of Lebanon captured over
all champion honors at the Expo. As the show came to a
close, he was chosen champion professional fitter and
reserve champion professional showman, before gather
ing rosettes for grand champion fitter, reserve grand
champion showman, and eventually overall Expo champ
ion. David, the son of Robert and Sandra Lentz, is an
eighth-semester dairy and animal science major. Last
summer, he was chosen as a finalist in the National Hols
tein Association Distinguished Junior Member competi
tion. He will be working for the Holstein Association as an
intern this summer.
