NORTHEAST BROILER/FRYER
PARTS - PART I FEDERAL-STATE
Trucklot buying intereit was fairly light
today as the trade awaits further market
developments. Supplies of boneless skin
less bream were adequate for immediate
needs. Most trading was reported at
unchanged prices. Line run breasts were at
least adequate for the light demand. Extra
product that was available early this morn
ing was slow to clear. Leg quarters were
irregularly distributed but overall supplies
were at least adequate and buyers were
becoming cautious for late week needs.
Wings continued to be in close balance
with an active demand.

MARKET. FEDERAL-STATE Move
ment of ready-to-cook whole birds was
good, especially 2.5 and 3 pound sizes
which were in limited supply. Over 3
pound sizes were adequate. Live supplies
were moderate; weights varied and were
mostly desirable to heavy. Processing
schedules were reduced compared to yes
terday, but remained very heavy. Less than
trucklot asking prices were 1 to 2 cents
higher at 52 to 64 cents. Trade sentiment
was firm to higher. In the part complex,
sellers noted wings, bone-in breasts and in
instances boneless skinless breasts as tight
and confidently held. Leg items ranged
adequate to fully adequate.
