Delmarva
Broiler-Fryer
Market
Wednesday, April 7,1993
Movement of ready-to-cook whole birds
was generally moderate to occasionally
better for the limited supplies of lighter
sizes. Supplies were adequate. Weights
were desirable to mostly heavy. Live sup
plies were moderate. Processing schedules
were heavy. Less than trucklot asking
prices were unchanged at 48 - 57 cents.
Trade sentiment was generally steady. In
the parts complex, demand for wings
improved for immediate, some interest in
leg quarters was noted for future ship
ments, and the balance of items were at
least steady.
