The American Dairy Association and Dairy Council, Inc. (ADADC) joined television
station WTVH-TV and P&C Food Supermarkets to co-sponsor “Focus on Fitness” at
the On Center in Syracuse, New York. More than 7,000 consumers visited the special
event to learn more about being healthy. ADADC staff nutritionist Beth McKinney
was able to talk one-on-one with people to answer questions regarding dairy pro
ducts and how to include them in their daily diet. Consumers were able to sample a
new drinkable orange-flavored yogurt and low-fat yogurt at the ADADC booth, as
well as have hands-on experience on fitness machines.
