    HERE'S WHAT THEY'RE SAYING
"In one week, my
cows were up to
5 pounds per
head per day."
E. King,

“I switched to AminoTek Dairy Pellets from a cob chop
mix in 1991. My cows cleaned the pellets up as good as
my cob-chop mix. However, I got a jump in milk right
away. In one week my cows were up 5 pounds/head/
day. My production went up and just stayed there. The
highest average I got was 68 pounds a day. I was never
close to that before feeding AminoTek. My butterfat
stayed about the same, 3.6, for the ’92 year. For the
past year my cows have not gone below 60 pounds and
this fall my test went up to 3.9 and even 4.0.
My fresh cows are cleaning very good and they just take
off in milk., My herd health, since feeding AminoTek, is
real good. I thought with my jump in milk, that my
reproduction would get worse, but it hasn't. With the
great service Sensenig gives and the results from the
AminoTek Dairy Program, I am very happy.”

“I started milking cows in March of 1992. The herd I bought
was being fed a TMR, mineral program. The RHA was
21,000, so I was hoping to keep close to that by individually
feeding the cows. At first, the biggest difference was that
my butterfat dropped from 3.6 to 3.4, but surprisingly the
milk held pretty good. Some mid-lactation cows even
picked up.
As the cows are drying off and coming fresh, they are taking
off and peaking very good. My December milk average was
77.1 pounds. My RHA has climbed back over 21,000 and
should keep going if my calving interval keeps going down.
My breeding with the new herd was my biggest problem, but
the past few months it is going the other way, and things are
looking real good. With the way they are milking and
breeding now, I hope 1993 will be a good year.”
