Adam Herrold, the newborn
son of Troy and Cathy Herrold of
Lower Paxton Township, was re
cently honored as Harrisburg’s
Agriculture Day Baby. The Her
rold family received two baskets
of Pennsylvania food products
from Agriculture Secretary Boyd
E. Wolff.
Wolff honored the Herrold fam
ily as part of Pennsylvania’s cele
bration of National Agriculture
Week in the Harrisburg area. Na
tional Agriculture Week coincides
with the beginning of spring and
honors America’s farmers who
will be preparing their fields for
planting.

The Agriculture Baby contest
involved the four greater Harris
burg area hospitals, and the title
was awarded to the first baby to
arrive on Pennsylvania’s Agricul
ture Day, March 18. Adam Her
rold arrived at Harrisburg Hospital
at 1:42 a.m.
The Herrold family received
