LANDIS VALLEY (Lancaster Co.) Early American Life magazine, in conjunction with Landis Valley Museum, is offer ing its third annual exhibition of Traditional American Crafts March 27 to April 30. Displayed at Landis Valley will be furniture, tin, pewter, folk art, baskets, textiles, and other works produced by artisans selected by an expert panel of judges in a blind competition to be among the 200 Best Traditional American Craftsmen. The list is published annually in Early American Life's August issue. In addition to the exhibition, on March 27-28 and again on April 10, museum craftspeople will de monstrate such early American skills as gunsmithing, cabinetry, bobbin lace making, leather work ing, and hearth cooking.
