al county residents honored at the
Annual Meeting of Perry County
Cooperative Extension. Beavers
were honored with a citation from
the Pennsylvania House of Repre
sentatives recognizing their
achievements in attaining the
Master Farmer Award. County
Extension Director Dave Swartz
presented a slide show highlight
ing Beaver’s farm operation. This
slide presentation featured Char
lie’s work in soil conservation, his
reliance on no-till crop production
and Charlie and Ginny’s involve
ment in community organizations.
