Mike Wagner, the executive director of the Ohio Com Growers Association, will be one Of the featured speakers at this year’s annual com conference. The conference is slated to be held on March 2 at the Ramada Inn in West Middlesex in Mercer County. The confer ence will feature presentations on a number of timely topics, presentation of the Five Acre Com Club Awards, and indus try exhibits. Wagner will be discussing some of the alternative uses the Ohio Com Growers arc pursu ing with their checkoff funds. These include increasing the use of com based ethanol and using com based products in a coal desulfurization process. This should be of particular interest to Pennsylvanians, who are blessed with large deposits of high sulfur coal.
