The Chester County Conservation District is
requesting bids for the construction of two separate
Agricultural Waste Storage Systems to be funded in
part by the Chesapeake Bay Program. These two
projects are in no way connected. Bids must by kept
separate for the two projects.
The first project is for the construction of a 122,000
cubic foot Agricultural Waste Storage System In
West FaHowfield Township, Chester County, PA.
Construction is expected -to begin in March, 1993.
The sits showing is scheduled for 10:00 AM February
25, 1993.
■ The second project is (or the construction of a
21,000 cubic foot Agricultural Waste Storage Sys
tem. Construction of this project is expected to begin
during March, 1993. The site is located in Upper
Oxford Township, Chester County, PA. The site
showing is scheduled tor 1:30 PM February 25,1993.
Prospective contractors will receive a bid package
consisting of instructions to bidders, a sample con
tract form, the plans and specifications for the project
and a bid sheet. Small and minority businesses and
women's business enterprises are encouraged to
respond to this invitation for bids.
Sealed bids will be accepted until the public bid
openings at 10:00 AM (for the West FaHowfield Pro
