R J, Ratliff, president and chief
executive officer of AGCO, com

ransactions.
“As a result of these actions,
M3CO and Massey Ferguson

Wool Producers Should File Receipts
LANCASTER (Lancaster
Co.) —The Lancaster County

Conservation Service (ASCS)
reminds wool producers to file
their 1992 sales receipts by Janu

alliance between AGCO and Mas
sey Ferguson. “These moves
strengthen Masse Ferguson’s pre
sence in North America while
allowing it to reduce its asset
levels,” he said. The proceeds
received by Varity will be about
$llO million and will be used to
reduce debt. Rice also noted that
ASCS encourages wool producers
to file in January because USDA’s
National Agricultural Statistics
Service needs the data in February
to compute wool market prices.
“Since national average market
prices are the basis for wool pay

submit their sales documents to us
at least by the end of January,”
said Ray Brubaker, county execu

Ratliff stated he will propose
that an officer of Massey Fergu

He reminds producers that

Wool producers are also required
