The market tone was steady in the Northeast and Midwest, steady to fully steady in the South and on the West Coast. Demand ranged light to instances good, mostly fair, and best where featured. Supplies were generally adequate with occasional shor tages in the South. Extra eggs continued to be held with confidence except for some surplus jumbos offered in the Midwest at steady to lower pnees. Breaking stock sup plies were closely balanced to adequate, and prices were unchanged to higher. Light type hen markets were steady to firm, mostly fully steady with offerings usually short to instances balanced with the mod erate to good demand. Supplies of boneless skinless bieasts were in close balance with trade needs with some buyer inquiries for late week delive ries not booked. Trading was reported at higher prices than prior day. Line run breasts were very tight. Supplies to cover regular business was adequate but vety little additional product was available. Shipper asking prices trended higher. All daik meat items were adequate for a fair demand and prices were generally steady. Wings continued to be fully adequate to ample for the vety light and cautious buy ing interest Prices trended lower.
