Suffel Takes Ewe
HARRISBURG (Dauphin Co.)
Stacy Suffel of Carlisle took
supreme champion ewe with
“Pearl,” a 15-month-old Dorset, at
the Farm Show on Sunday.
“Pearl” was also judged grand
champion of her division earlier in
the day. The ewe had placed first in
the fall ewe division at NAICE last
year.
Stacy also won champion
Dorset at the junior show on Wed
nesday. The same day, she swept
the Hampshire division, winning
champion and reserve.
Stacy’s other accomplishments
include junior champion Dorset
division at the 1991 Farm Show
and champion Hampshire ram at
the 1992 Farm Show.
Stacy is the daughter of John
and Shirley Suffel, who reside at
the 70-acre Yellow Rose Farm in
