wood for use in the fireplace. We

don’t agree that the sumac that he
has piled is a good choice but he
assures me that it is okay. We
have many fallen trees in our
woodland and I’d prefer some
other kind of wood.
The recent wind storm blew
down a huge white ash along the
river. We will try to move it with a
tractor and have some boards
sawed. From time to time, we’ve
had black walnut boards sawed
and Allen hopes to use some to
make furniture.
Each fall we plant a dozen liny
trees in a row behind our house.
I’m hoping that we will transplant
them when they get bigger. Years
ago we pul in a row of evergreens
and then never mgved them and
now they are 30 feet high.
It’s a new year but somehow we
lend to repeat our previous mis
takes unless we put forth a lot of
effort to change.
