announced its selection of six
young Holstein sires from Pen
nsylvania for a sire testing
program.
American Breeders Service,
from DeForest, Wisconsin,
announced that the Pennsylvania
bulls, including three from Penn-
Col Farms in Millville, are to join
other young dairy bulls being test
ed this year through the company’s
Progeny Test Program. Their se
men is to be distributed within con
tracted herds across the U.S.
After a 4-year wait, their pro
geny is to be evaluated and a deci
sion made as to whether or not the
bulls qualify to join the company’s
elite sire lineup.
