sentiment was barely steady to lower. In
the parts complex, leg quarters were in
close balance. Breast items were fully
adequate to ample Wings were irregularly
balanced; however, overall demand had
slowed.

Offerings of light type fowl have increased
and are about adequate for next week but
fully adequate for mid-month schedules.
Buying interest slowing as slaughter
capacities fill. Availability of heavy hens
remains limited for a good call from both
inside and outside the U.S. Undertone
about steady on lights and fully steady on
heavies.

The market tone was cautiously steady
as underlying sentiment became increas
ingly nervous. Buying activity was light
but pressure from end users forced some
sellers to succumb. Raw materials were
more available but further processors
attempted to limit receipts. Floor stocks
were fully adequate with most breakers
working as close as possible with needs to
avoid building unwarned and high priced
inventories.

Tnicklot buying interest for retail needs
continued light on all items except yellow
skin leg quarters. Supplies of boneless
skinless breasts were adequate and all trad
ing was repotted at steady prices. Some
buying interest has developed for late week
needs. Smaller size line run breasts were in
close balance; however, overall supplies
were hilly adequate and trading was at
lower prices. Tlie undertone was weak.
Whole legs, thighs, and drumsticks were at
least adequate. Yellow skin leg quarters
were in close balance with a good demand.
Demand for wings was irregular and
ranged fair to sluggish. Prices were
unchanged
