Dean Hood To Headline Lancaster Chamber Ag Banquet

Lamartine F. Hood, Dean of
the College of Agricultural Sci
ences, director of the Agricultural
Experiment Station and director of
Cooperative Extension at Penn
State University, will be the key
note speaker at The Lancaster
Chamber of Commerce & Indus
try’s annual agricultural-industry
banquet.
A Penn State graduate himself.
Hood earned his B.S. in dairy sci
ence as well as his Ph.D. in food
science and biochemistry there.
In addition to his work at Penn
State, he is also active with the
University of Pennsylvania’s
School of Veterinary Medicine,
serving on its board of overseers.
On the state level, he also serves
on the State Farm Show Commis
sion, the State Conservation Com
mission, State Agricultural Land
Preservation Board, and the board
