POURED CONCRETE SOLLENBERGER SILO.
Units available for “High-Moisture” shelled corn or
“Ground Ear” corn. Bottom-Unloading or Top-
Unloading. Consider the Many Advantages of Concrete l
6” thick concrete walls to keep feed cooler because con
crete reflects the sun’s rays, and has 25 times more
insulating power than steel. The concrete silo has a
much lower maintenance requirement because there
are not thousands of bolts to rust and work loose and no
seams to reseal. The poured concrete silo is heavily
reinforced to give you a very strong structure.
Unload from the bottom with a simple auger for high
moisture shelled corn, (least expensive): Laidig 43 for
shelled corn or cob corn, or Flying Dutchman for grains
or Forages.
