Sixty five young dairy promoters and 23 adults gathered for the third annu al “Mini Seminar” conducted by Pennsylvania Dairy Princess and Promotion Services, Inc. The young people came from all cor ners of the state-Erie County to Bucks, Washington to Wyoming and included three 4-H exchange students from Japan and one from Finland. This one-day training session was designed to acquaint some of Pennsylvania’s younger dairy enthusiants with the basics of dairy promotion. Following an introductory session in which each participant had the opportunity to introduce themselves and their chaparone, the attending Dairy Maids, Ambassadors, and Junior Dairy Representatives were divided into three groups. Each group rotated to three 50-minute workshops. All the workshops were con ducted by current or former Pen nsylvania dairy royalty-young women who have “been there themselves” as local dairy promo ters.
