Swine and Sheep shows, held
tecendy at the South Mountain
Fairgrounds.
Jonathan Reinecker, York
Springs, won grand champion
market hog at the swine show. The
2SS-pound champion hog was
bought by Hatfield Quality Meats.
Grand champion lamb was won
by Kim Funt, Arendtsville, who
also won the champion senior
fitting/showmanship award. Fees
er’s Hog Farm bought the
106-pound lamb.

bought by Hatfield Quality Meats, represented by Kenton
Good. Doug Whitworth from Wayne Feed Supply, Dlllburg,
presented Reinecker with a rotating plaque, and Larry
Feeser, Jr., from Long Lane Farms, donated the champion
trophy.

Andrew Reinecker from York Springs stands with his
250 pound reserve champion hog at the 4-H/FFA Swine
Show and Sale, held recently at the South Mountain Fair
grounds. Also with Reinecker are Kenton Good from Hat
field Quality Meats and Brian Campbell, New Oxford FFA
Advisor, representing New Oxford Agway, the donor of the
reserve champion trophy.
The Adams County 4-H/FFA reserve champion market
iamb was shown by Kim Funt of Ardentsvllle. Mountain
Dale Farms, represented here by Ron Funt, bought the 114
pound lamb. Also with Funt is Pat Hawn from Gettysburg,
who donated the reserve champion banner.
