Honored At Ag Progress
YORK (York Co.) Several
volunteers from York County will
be on hand when Penn State’s
College of Agricultural Sciences
holds a Volunteer Appreciation
Day luncheon on Thursday, Au
gust 20.
The event is part of Penn State’s
annual Ag Progress Days, which
is dedicated this year to the more
than 50,000 volunteers who serve
the college statewide.

monstrations. It is held at the Rus

search Center at Rockspring, nine
miles southwest of Stale College
on Route 45 on August 18-20.
Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tues
day and Thursday, with extended
hours of 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Wed
nesday. Admission and parking
are free.
