Movement of ready-to-cook whole bitdt
tapered; demand was about moderate and
typical of mid-week activity. Supplies
were adequate to fully adequate with under
3 pound sizes in tight balance. Lets than
micfclot asking prices were unchanged at
55 to 62 cents. Live supplies were of mod
erate volume. Weights varied, but were
desirable at moat plants. Slaughter sche
dules were heavy. Trade sentiment was
steady and cautious. In the pans complex,
breast items and leg quartets were avail
able and slow in clearing. Other items were
about adequate.

Tiucklot buying interest continued light.
Boneless skinless breasts for retail needs
were fully adequate, offered at lower trend
ing prices, and slow to clear, product for
food service was adequate. Line ran
breasts were available at several points,
asking prices varied but trended lower,
buyers were very cautious and moat lim
ited receipts to commitments only. Yellow
skin leg quarters were in dose balance with
trade needs, white skin product was avail
able and slow to clear. Trading was
reported at lower prices. Legs, thighs,
drumsticks, and wings were adequate at
current prices.

GLANCE: Prices were unchanged to lower
an the large sizes in the Midwest and New
England, unchanged on the balance. The
market tone was cautiously steady to weak.
Demand continued mixed from light to
good, mostly moderate. Supplies were
adequate to ample, and available. Breakers
received adequate shell eggs from regular
sources, additional offerings were more
than adequate, and prices were unchanged
to lower. Live hen markets were at least
steady, and supplies were generally
adequate.
Prices were unchanged Trade sentiment
was barely steady and cautious. Demand
was light to instances fairly good, mostly
moderate. Floor stocks were adequate to
fully adequate, and extra supplies were
readily available.
