    Contestants Prepare For Cumberland County
CARLISLE (Cumberland Co.)
Three teens will compete in the
Cumberland County Dairy Prin
cess Pageant to be held at the
Embers Convention Center, Carli
sle, on June 19, at 8 p.m.
The contestants include the fol
lowing: Laura Lee Deitch, daught
er of Chester Sr. and Kathy Deitch
of Mcchanicsburg. Laura will be
completing her sophomore year at
Cumberland Valley High School.
She hopes to study radiology at
Holy Spirit Hospital.
Diane Myers, daughter of

The fun-filled, hands-on work
shop will be conducted July 20-23
at the Pennsylvania State Univer
sity to focus on the wholistic edu
cational approach, enabling
elementary teachers to develop
projects and lessons that integrate
agricultural concepts into their
existing curriculum.
Participants are requested upon

agricultrual background. The par
ticipants will be introduced to
numerous resources.
