The Twin Valley FFA assisted

the support of 18 Twin Valley
FFA’ers. Each of them had to
address a different topic, including
taking care of the calves, the feed
ing program, how to milk a cow,
and storing of the milk for
shipment .
“The kids are really inter

FFA’er. “Like, how to tell the dif

A lot of kids just don’t know.”
“Last year, the kids went
around to different parts of the
farm to see the different animals,”
said Carolyn Wagner, third grade
teacher. She said this was her first
year at the annual farm tour.
“Here, the kids get to try the
milk and some homemade ice
cream at the end of the tour,” said
Eleanore Hart, third grade teacher
at the Twin Valley Elementary
Center.
