Fanning, Saturday, May 23, 1992 While Working On COAL CENTER (Washington Co.) —Clyde S. Robinson, well known director of many faim orga nizations, was stricken with an aneuiysm of the aorta last Satur day, May 16, while woridng on equipment at his 95-cow Jersey dairy farm. Robinson died later in the day after an emergency opera tion. He was 74 years old. Robinson had served as Nation al DHIA president as well as Pen nsylvania president and vice presi dent He was a continuous member of Atlantic Breeders Cooperative board of directors for 45 years, and served on the executive commitee as treasurer, vice president and on the Jersey Sire Committee. Robinson Dairymen’s Association board of directors from 1956 to 1991, was president of Dairymen’s in 1976 The Farm and received the first annual Char les E. Cowan Memorial Award. He was president of the Pennsylvania Jersey Cattle Club and a board member of the American Jersey Cattle Club. In the late ’7os to early 'Bos, Robinson served on the executive committee of the Penn State Ag Advisory Council and was a> Mas ter Farmer award winner. He was president and a board member of the Pennsylvania State Fair Asso ciation, served on the State ASC Committee, and was a board mem ber of the County Agricultural Extension Association. He was president and a board member of the Country Belle Cooperative, served on the Federal Order 36 Advertising Committee, and the California Area School Authority.
