    RCMA Sets Regional
BATAVIA. N.Y, Dairy far
mer members of the Regional
Cooperative Marketing Agency
(RCMA) will meet throughout
New York and Pennsylvania to
discuss efforts to increase the
price farmers receive for their
milk.
RCMA has been active
throughout the year on a variety of
projects working to provide eco
nomic relief to farmers hit by low
milk prices. An RCMA staff
member will attend each meeting
to update members about activi
ties to provide an economic safety
net for dairy fanners.
During each meeting, indepen
dent RCMA members will elect a
regional director to serve on
RCMA’s board of directors,
which meets regularly throughout
the year. They will also elect a
delegate and alternate delegate to
attend the annual meeting in
December and represent the reg
ion on membership matters.
