ONO (Lebanon Co.)—A local vet erinarian opened the Umberger’s of Fontana dairy mepting here Tuesday, by listing goals dairymen should consider for their herds. “Goal setting on the dairy farm is very important,” said Charlie Gardner. “You need to ask your self is the goal of interest to you? Is it obtainable? Is it measureable? and what is the time frame?” Gardner said the most important goal should be to know what it costs to make 100 lbs. of milk. If you know such things as feed cost, labor cost or machinery cost, you can figure where to cut back if you need to do so. Other suggested goals were: ROUND BALE MOVERS 3 Pt. 1251 Single Prong The Same Unit Can Be Used With One Prong For Center Of Bale Or Two Prongs For Under Bale.
