Adams County dairy farmers was
confirmed when die board of
directors, Adams County Hol
steins Association, met Feb. 7 in
Gettysburg at the home of Thomas
E. Piper, county agent.
President Marvin Brown over
saw the meeting.
Jeffrey and Mary Kay Roche of
New Oxford received thanip for
directing the sale of 6S cases of
cheddar cheese, a fund-raising
project. Proceeds are targeted to
support the dairy princess prog
ram, help underwrite dairy pro
duct promotion, and provide assis
tance to programs for youth.

Richlawn Farm, and Sinking
Springs Farm before lunch at Rut
ters Family Restaurant.
Afternoon visits to Bupplyn
Farms south of York and Susque
hanna Aquacultures, Inc. at York
Haven will allow the group to
return to Gettysburg about 4:30
p.m. Adam Lobaugh is chair of the
tour committee.
The Pleasant Acres Farm of the
Harold King family off Route 94
west of York Springs will be the
site of a summer twilight meeting
on Wednesday, July IS.
The annual membership meet
ing was tentatively scheduled for
Thursday. Oct 15, in the new fire
hall currently under construction
in Gettysburg.
Jeffrey Roche announced that
he is seeking a supporting sponsor
for a championship trophy to be
awarded at the South Central
