National Holstein Convention in
Salt Lake City. Utah.
Distinguished Junior Members
WARRENDALE (Allegheny
Co.) —Six finalists and the win
ners woe recognized at the Junior
Holstein Convention, last week.
The finalists were chosen from a
field of 14 contestants. Each was
selected based on a scrapbook list
ing activities and leadership
involvement in Holstein work,
school and community activities.
The winners are Matthew
Lawrence, son of Paul and Penny
Lawrence; and Suzy Stutzman,
daughter of Mike and Barbara
Stutzman.
Other finalists were: Erica
Davis, Kutztown; Dianne Clock,
Mifflin; Craig Walton, Carlisle;
and Wade Sturgeon, Fombell.

Holstein Association recognized
Bridgette Boyer, York, for deve
loping a herd of Registered Hols
tein cattle that enabled her to
receive the Junior Progressive
Breeder award. Bridgette bred and
developed at least three cows that
met the criteria set forth to earn the
award. Her cows are: Sunnybend
Sexy Icicle B Star Ex-90, 5-10 y
WARRENDALE (Allegheny Co.) —The 1991 Junior All-
Pennsylvania show awards were presented to the winning junior mem
bo's at the Pennsylvania Junior Holstein Convention. There are four
teen classes recognized in the Junior All-Pennsylvania contest
John Foster 111, received one Junior All-Pennsylvania award and
two reserve awards. Justin Burdette, had an an All Pennsylvania and a
Reserve All-Pennsylvania winner. Thirty-five other juniors received
recognition the the contest There were 71 entries.
