Isennock Auction Services, Inc. con ducted the sale. ROYER ESTATE SALE A Public Sale of real estate in Lancaster County was held Janu ary 29 for the estate of Ada S. Royer with Mary N. Royer, Trus tee. The farm was located at 201 Royer Road, Ephrata Twp., Lane. Co., Pa. The 117 acre farm was sold for nearly one million dollars and there were nearly 400 spectators attending the sale. The farm had been in the Royer family since 1810. Earl G. Martin, a longtime tenant farmer, bought 107 acres for $536,000. He had farmed soybeans, com and tobacco on the farm for many years. Scott R. Cover, who owns Line Specialties, Inc., purchased 10 acres which included a histor ic stone farmhouse, summer house, limes tone and frame bank bam, steer bam, pig bam, frame com and tobacco bam and frame tobacco shed for $425,000. The highest bid went to the former Bitner’s produce stand which was sold to Minnich’s Farm Market for $2900. The single stand will feature deli and salad items. The former Summy Produce Stand was pur chased by TJ.’s Cinna mon Rolls for $1750. The most exotic stand at market may well be Uncle Homer’s purchased by Richard Lichty, a former presi dent of East Coast Foods, which previous ly operated a Central Market stand.
