She also has experience in beef and swine finishing. Patricia has obtained proficiency awards in soil and water conservation and in ag business sales and service, in addition to the Greenhand, Chapter, Red Rose, and Star Red Rose Agribusiness degrees. She said she plans to continue her job at the Somerset Country Club and will enroll in a two-year trade school for greenskeeping and general art. Irvin For the past three years, Clearfield FFA member Wayne Irvin has saved on various committees and parti- cipated in an array CS projects. Some include M forestry, Envirothon,/ state Envirothon, attendance, ag mcch anics, poultry produc- w don, livestock judging at local and region al levels, and other livestock diversity projects. The son of Howard and Patricia Irvin, Frenchville, Clearfield Co., Wayne has served on the leadership, financial, and recreation committees. He has also served on the parliamentary procedure team. Other honors include Star Greenhand, Star Chapter Fanner, and other honors. He plans to enlist in the army reserves and enroll in college. Wendy Jesiolowski Wendy Jesiolowski, 17, daughter of Robert and Linda Jesiolowski, is a 4-year member of the Oley Valley FFA | Chapter at Oley Valley High School in Bp Berks County. x j Among her FFA WJ J activities, Jesiolowski Bv m has been involved in beef breeding, beef finishing, swine finish ing, laying hens, and wok experience. She has also been a member of the Food For American Committee. She counts among her achievements being chapter sentinel, treasurer, secretary for the county group, and vice president for both the county FFA and her chapter. She has been awarded the Star Greenhand, Star Chapter Farmer, County Degree, and won a bronze medal in the state dairy foods contest. Wendy said her future plans are to attend Delaware Valley College in the fall of 1992 to pursue a degree in animal science. Allison Kacburka Allison Kachurka, 18, daughter of Patricia and Ronald Hartranft, of Blooms burg. She is a 3-year member of the Columbia-Montour FFA chapter and has been involved in the club’s orange sale, banquet, BOAC. refreshment committees. He lists his achievements as being vice president of his chapter in 10th grade, and president the past two years. He has also been innvolved in floriculture contest His plans are to work and possibly col lege. He is currently working at Kressler’s Flower Shop in Bloomsburg. Mercena Keeney Mercena Keeney, is the daughter of William and Bonnie Keeney, of Wyalusing, in Bradford County. She is a 4-year member of the Wya- , - lusing Valley FFA \ I Chapter and has been JL * involved in dairy projects, including starting with one animal and growing to where she now owns 10. She has also served on several chapter committees, including the float, summer picnic, seed sales, and calendar sales committees. Mer cena has also been involved in several FFA contests, such as the dairy showing, dairy judging, wildlife, forestry, livestock, and project book. She has been active in lead ership development, attending a confer ence and also going to the state and nation al conventions. Among her achievements, she said she served as secretary, vice presi dent and president of the local FFA chapter and as county secretary for three years. She has showed dairy cattle at the local, district and state level and won a gold medal for the past three years in the stale project book contest She is currently the Bradford County alternate dairy princess and is active in 4-H. She said she plans to go to attend and agricultural college and pursue studies in dairy science. Ginger Kegg Ginger Kegg, 18, daughter of Russell and Fiances Kegg, is a 4-year member of the Bedford High School FFA chapter. She has been involved in raising market hogs. managing a purebred spotted swine herd. raising market lambs, steers and has participated in livestock judging. She attended the state FPA Week in 1989 and went to the National FFA Week this past year. Among her achievements. Ginger has been a chapter reporter for 2 years, a FFA chapter student advisor, won Bth place in land judging contest and first place in a conservation public speaking contest dur ing the state FFA week in 1991.
