al 4-H achievement night Special
Memorial Awards were presented
to the following: Steve Ludwig,
Gettysburg, received the ABC
Williams Special Leadership
Award; Melanie Kuntz, Gardners,
received the Rose Murren Special
Leadership Award; Abe Bucher,
New Oxford, received the Wil
liam Miller Special Leadership
Award; Jacki Sterner, Gettysburg,
received the Mrs. Edward Snyder
Clothing Award; Rachael Millar,
New Oxford, received the Robert
Lott Leadership Award: Mike
Adams 4-H Board Officers the Board of Directors, 4-H
Clubs of Adams County Inc., elected officers at their
November reorganization meeting. Board President Bren

New Oxford; and Treasurer Donald Bair of Blglervllle

ment, and leadership potential.

Levi Bream, Gardners. Each reci
pient received a copy of William
H. Danforth’s book, “I Dare You”.

Sterner, Gettysburg. Ten year 4-H
members recognized were Janelle
Boyer, East Berlin; Jayne Hess,
Gettysburg; Karen King, York
Springs; and Mandy Meckley,
Abbottstown.
4-H members also received rec
ognition in specific 4-H National
Award Program areas. The award
was based upon the member’s
comprehensive record of activities
in 4-H and their excellence within
the specific program area.
