fryers was fair today, and about as
expected for mid-week trading. Supplies
were adequate for immediate needs. Less
than tmcklot asking prices were unchanged
at 47 - 58 cents. Live supplies were adequ
ate. Average live weights were in a desir
able range. Processing schedules were
heavy. Trade sentiment was generally
steady. In the parts complex, supplies of
boneless skinless breast were in close
balance, all other items were adequate for
immediate needs.

GLANCE; Pricei were unchanged under a
generally needy undertone. Demand was
mixed but mostly moderate. Some retail
promotional activity was noted but clear
ing slower than anticipated. Supplies were
in good balance with current needs and
additional product was usually available
and confidently held. Breakers were cau
tious and for the most part worked with
regular commitments. Finished product
sales were slow.

were slow to clear. Leg quarter supplies
were in close balance for prompt needs and
the undertone was fully steiuly. Wings
