A crowd of 150 saw the three tracts sold as one 238-acre plot. Lancaster County and the Lancaster County Conservancy purchased the 238.4 acres of forests, farm land, overlook vistas and wetlands near Speedwell Forge Lake in Elizabeth Township for $858,000. Lancaster County plans a park in the northern part of the county where an 18-hole golf course and housing development were once planned. This land is next to the Hammer Creek. J.
