ment was about steady. Demand remained

Prices continued to trend lower. Declin
ing values on raw materials added addi
tional pressure on sellers. Buyers adopted a
wait and see position and bought only what
was necessaiy. Further processors adjusted
schedules where needed to avoid building
unwanted inventories. Floor stocks were
usually fully adequate to ample.

Movement of re«dy-to-cook broiler
fryers was fairly good to good today. Sup
plies were in good balance with trade
needs. Less than tmcklot asking prices
were higher at 49 - 60 cents. Live supplies
were adequate. Average live weights were
irregular but mostly desirable. Processing
schedules were heavy. Trade sentiment
was fully steady to firm. In the parts com
plex, supplies of wings were adequate to
fully adequate, breast items were barely
adequate to tight, leg quarters were in good
balance, legs were adequate to ample.
