Prices trended lower on whole eggs and
whites while both sugared and salted yolks
were generally unchanged Trade senU
ment was steady to weak on whole and
whites, steady on sugared yolks, and
steady to instances fully steady on salted
yolks. Demand centered on immediate
needs with both yolk products drawing the
best interest; movement of whites and
whole egg was limited Floor stocks were
at least adequate Raw matenals were gen
erally adequate from regular sources, and
light weight offerings diminished yet were
available at steady prices

Movement of ready-to-cook broiler
fryers was generally fair today. Supplies
of lighter sizes were fully adequate, hea
vier sizes barely adequate to adequate.
Lest than truckles asking prices were
unchanged at 51 - 60 cents. Live supplies
were adequate, with average live weights
ranging desirable to light. Processing
schedules were moderately heavy. Trade
sentiment was cautiously steady. In the
parts complex, supplies of wings were
tight, whole breast were hilly adequate,
boneless skinless breast was adequate,
dark meat was adequate to fully adequate.

Prices were generally unchanged except
in New England the extra-large and jumbo
loose brown prices were higher, and car
oned brown mediums trended lower. The
naricet tone was steady with a fully steady
one on the large sizes in the Midwest
Demand was mostly moderate, occasional
y better where featured. Supplies of jum
x) continued seasonally short, extra- large
were tight to adequate, large were general
ly adequate, and the lighter sizes were at
least adequate and usually better balanced.
Breakers continued to purchase light
weight eggs, particularly where heavy
breaking stock prices increased. Live hen
markets remained barely steady to weak.

irregularly available; however, where

traded at lower levels. Whole breasts were
readily available with spot trading again in
the mid eighties. Leg items were about

prices. Wings remained short.
