Prices were lower on mediums and
smalls in the Midwest and New England,
unchanged on the balance. The market tone
was steady on the Urge sizes, steady to
weak on the small sizes. Demand was mix
ed across the full range, and was best
where featured, mostly moderate overall.
Supplies of jumbo, extra-large and heavy
nest runs were short to adequate, and gen
erally more available. Large supplies were
adequate, and the smaller sizes were
adequate to long. Breakers selectively pur
chased shell eggs at unchanged to lower
prices. Live hen markets were barely
steady to weak; demand remained light for
the ample supplies.

Tracklot buying interest was light and
unaggressive. Boneless skinless breasts
remained in fairly good balance for an irre
gular call. Whole breasts continued to
increase in availability and supplies were
generally adequate at current higher price
levels. Legs, leg quarters and thighs were
fully adequate to ample and best interest
centered on leg quarters for retail ad activi
ty. Drums were about adequate and in
closest balance. Wings ranged balanced to
available depending on shipper but in
excess overall.
