Eco-Meet Winners YORK (York Co.) Seven teen teams of third and fourth grade students across the county spend a sunsplashed spring day at the Izaak Walton League Grounds near Dallastown recently to show case their skills and knowledge of the environment competing in the Second Annual York County Eco mect. The Eco-meet is an environ mental learning experience that culminated in the one day event Teams of six students were tested in the areas of forestry, wildlife, current events (recycling), and an environmental scavenger hunt All participants walked away with a seedling, T-shirt, poster, conservation booklets, and a new found appreciation for our natural environment. The top six teams received ribbons and cash awards for their environmental libraries.
